Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between RoofGo LLC, organized in Mississippi, which operates RoofGo (“RoofGo”, “we”, “us”)and the business that creates a RoofGo account (“you”). By creating an account or using RoofGo you accept these Terms for your business, and you confirm that you are allowed to do that. RoofGo is sold to businesses for business use, not for personal, family or household use.
The Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum are part of these Terms.
1. The service
RoofGo is software for roofing companies. It measures roofs from aerial imagery and third-party data, turns your pricing into estimates and proposals, and gives your team tools for door knocking, office mailers, storm maps and, as an add-on, AI-drafted follow-ups. We improve RoofGo all the time, so features may change. If we remove a major paid feature during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of that period.
2. Accounts
- The person who creates the account is its owner and must be at least 18. Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- You decide who on your team gets access and what role they have. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by the people you invite.
- Keep passwords and sign-in links private. Tell us straight away if you think someone has got into your account.
3. Estimates are not binding quotes
Everything RoofGo produces (measurements, estimates, price ranges, proposals and mailers) is a preliminary estimate prepared for you. It is not an offer, a bid, a contract, an inspection or a survey. You set and own every price you give a homeowner. Aerial measurements must be checked on site before you sign a contract, order materials or give a final price.
4. Measurement accuracy
Measurements are made remotely and can be wrong. Common causes are out-of-date imagery, trees or shadows over the roof, additions or changes since the imagery was taken, complex roof shapes, and a measurement of the wrong building. Imagery dates and confidence labels are approximate. We do not promise that any measurement is accurate or complete, and you must not rely on one without checking it on site. A measurement RoofGo cannot produce does not use a Property Credit.
5. Storm and weather data
Storm maps and hail sizes come from NOAA and National Weather Service data: radar estimates (MRMS), preliminary Storm Prediction Center reports and NWS warnings. They are estimates of hail in the storm, not observations at any address, and they are not a damage finding or an insurance determination. Only an in-person inspection can confirm roof damage. The data is provided by NOAA as is. RoofGo is not endorsed by or affiliated with NOAA or the National Weather Service. Do not tell a homeowner their roof was damaged on the strength of this data alone.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for running your business lawfully, including:
- Your prices and promises. Your pricing, warranties, financing statements and anything else you tell homeowners.
- Licensing and permits. Contractor licenses and registrations, building permits and insurance wherever you work.
- Door knocking.Local solicitation ordinances and permits, allowed hours, “no soliciting” signs and do-not-knock lists, the FTC Cooling-Off Rule and state home-solicitation laws, including the homeowner’s right to cancel.
- Email. The CAN-SPAM Act for commercial email you send through RoofGo: an accurate sender and subject line, your postal address, and a working way to opt out that you honor.
- Texts and calls. The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Do Not Call rules and state telemarketing laws if you text or call homeowners, including getting any consent the law requires. RoofGo can draft a message, but you send it from your own phone.
- Direct mail. Postage and postal rules (nothing without postage in a mailbox; door hangers go on doors), and mailers that do not look like a bill, an insurance notice or a government document.
- Insurance claims and advertising. State rules on insurance claims (for example, no deductible waivers or public adjusting where they are banned) and truthful advertising.
- Homeowner information.Having a lawful basis to collect and use the homeowner details you put into RoofGo, and answering homeowners’ requests about them.
7. Acceptable use
You and your team must not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download RoofGo, or copy its maps, imagery or measurements out of it, other than in proposals and mailers for your own customers;
- resell, sublicense or share RoofGo data, measurements or access with another business;
- open extra trials or accounts to get more free credits, share one account between companies, or get around Property Credit limits, rate limits, billing or security controls;
- try to reach another company’s account or data, probe or disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it;
- use RoofGo to build a competing product or to train a machine learning model, or show RoofGo’s Google content on a non-Google map;
- harass anyone, discriminate unlawfully, or use RoofGo for deceptive or unlawful marketing.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk.
8. Plans, Property Credits and billing
Free trial
The trial includes a set number of Property Credits and needs no card. It stops when the credits are used. One trial per company.
Renewal
Paid plans renew automatically every month or year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Payments are taken by our payment processor, Stripe. We will tell the account owner at least 30 days before a price change takes effect at renewal.
Property Credits
One Property Credit is one fresh measurement of a property, whether you tap it or a bulk job measures it. Your plan’s credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. A measurement that fails or cannot be priced is free, and re-measuring the same property within 30 days is free. Reopening saved properties, sending proposals and requesting office mailers do not use credits.
Overage
Paid plans keep working past their allowance. Extra credits are charged at your plan’s published overage rate and billed in arrears on your next invoice. You are warned at 75%, 90% and 100% of your allowance, and usage is always visible in the app. The trial stops at its allowance instead.
Plan changes
An upgrade starts straight away and you pay the difference for the rest of the period. A downgrade starts at your next renewal.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews after that. Deleting your company account (section 13) cancels the subscription immediately instead.
Refunds
If RoofGo is not right for you, ask within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. Otherwise fees are not refundable, including for unused credits or the rest of a period after you cancel, except where the law requires a refund or these Terms say otherwise.
Failed payments and taxes
If a payment fails we will email you. Your account keeps working for 7 days while you update your card; after that, measuring pauses until the invoice is paid. Prices do not include taxes, which you pay where they apply.
9. Third-party services
Google Maps
RoofGo uses Google Maps Platform features and content, including maps, satellite imagery, address search and roof data. By using RoofGo you agree to be bound by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Our own use of Google Maps Platform is governed by the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. You must not remove Google’s attribution, or copy, store or export Google content outside RoofGo.
Other providers
Payments run on Stripe, email on Resend, and the AI add-on on Anthropic. Storm data comes from NOAA and the National Weather Service, and NWS warning history from Iowa State University’s public archive. These services are outside our control. If one of them changes, restricts or withdraws what RoofGo relies on, the matching feature may pause or change, and we will tell you if that happens.
AI drafts
AI drafts can be wrong. Read and edit every draft before you send it; you are the sender and you are responsible for what it says.
10. Your data
You own the data you put into RoofGo: your company details, pricing, and the homeowner and property information your team enters. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only to run RoofGo for you, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum. We do not sell your data, and we never sell personal information about your homeowners or your team. The owner can download it at any time from Account in the app.
De-identified and aggregated data. We may create de-identified, aggregated data from the use of RoofGo, such as roof sizes, pitches, materials, prices, close rates and storm outcomes by area. It never identifies a homeowner, a person or your company, and it never includes map, imagery or roof data from Google. That data belongs to RoofGo. We may keep it after your account is deleted and use it for any lawful purpose, including improving RoofGo and building products, benchmarks and reports we offer to others. We will not try to re-identify it, and anyone we share it with must agree not to either.
11. Our intellectual property, and feedback
RoofGo, its software, designs and brand belong to us or our licensors. While your subscription is active you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right for your team to use RoofGo for your business under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using RoofGo at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these Terms, do not pay, put the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable we will give notice first and a chance to fix the problem. If we end your access without cause, we will refund any fees you paid for the time after it ends.
13. Deleting your account
The company owner can delete the company account from Account in the app. That cancels the subscription immediately and deletes the company’s data within 30 days. Anyone can delete their own login the same way. See Deleting your account for the details and for how to ask by email.
14. Disclaimers
RoofGo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. That includes measurements, estimates, storm data, AI drafts and third-party content. We do not promise that RoofGo will be uninterrupted or error free.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, jobs or data, even if told they were possible; and our total liability for all claims about RoofGo or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations or your obligations under section 16.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify RoofGo, and its owners and staff, against third-party claims, and the losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from them, arising out of: your calls, texts, emails, mail and door knocking; your prices, estimates, contracts and work; how you collect and use homeowner information; or your breach of these Terms or the law.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of the state and federal courts in Forrest County, Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will email account owners or show a notice in the app at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you keep using RoofGo after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
19. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum, are the whole agreement between us about RoofGo. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent; we may transfer them with our business. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control. We send notices to the account owner’s email address.
