Mailers and the Mail room

A mailer is a printed copy of a proposal, posted to the homeowner. Your own office prints it and puts it in the post with your own postage. RoofGo charges nothing per piece.

For reps: ask for a mailer

  1. Open the proposal and tap Request mailer.
  2. RoofGo checks the address first. If it cannot be delivered, it says why, and you can fix it while you are still at the house.
  3. Follow it on the proposal (Mailer requested, Mailed by your office or Mailer rejected with the reason) or on the Mailers tab of Estimates. Changed your mind? Tap Cancel request.

One rep per house. Only one mailer goes to a house, and that house is the lead of the rep who asked first. If another rep already requested one, RoofGo tells you and will not queue a second.

For the office: the Mail room

Mail room is in the menu for the Owner, Admin, Team admin, Manager, Office and Mail room. The number beside it is how many mailers are waiting.

  1. Requested holds new requests, oldest first. Tap Preview to look, or Edit to change the price or roof size before it goes out.
  2. Print: tap Print on one, choose Print all and a number for the oldest, or select several and tap Print selected. Printed mailers move to Printed.
  3. Once the envelopes are in the post, tap Mark posted (or Mark all posted on the Printed tab). They move to Posted.
  4. Not going out? Tap Reject and give a reason. The rep sees it on their estimate.
  5. Came back from the post office? Find it under Posted, tap Returned and pick what the label said. It moves to Returned.

Under More you can Fix address, Mark ready to print, Mark printed without printing, or Cancel request. The search box finds a mailer by address, name, phone or estimate number.
