Setting your prices

Every estimate RoofGo writes is priced from your Price Book. The Owner, Admin and Team admin can change it.

  1. Open Price Book in the menu.
  2. Base price: set your Price per square, installed. Use what you really sell an installed square for. Add a Minimum project, and Waste or Tear-off per square only if your price per square does not already include them (otherwise leave them at 0). Market adjustment raises or lowers every price: 1.00 is none, 1.10 is 10% more.
  3. Materials: untick what you do not sell. Each system has a multiplier against your base price, an optional product name for proposals, and a pitch range. Pick your Default material.
  4. Roof difficulty: set the Two-story multiplier, the multipliers for how cut up a roof is, and Steep pitch bands (from this pitch up, multiply the price).
  5. Line items: add permits, disposal, ventilation or drip edge, per job or per square, with + Add line item.
  6. Financing: choose No financing, the line Financing available (no lender, payment or rate), or Example payments from my lender. For your lender, enter its name, its minimum monthly payment and each term: months, APR, the payment per $1,000 your lender discloses, the smallest and largest loan, and the lender’s disclosure for that term, pasted exactly as written.
  7. Watch the Live example at the top change as you type, then tap Save pricing.

Good to know

  • Nothing changes for reps until you save. Each save is a new version, listed under History.
  • Estimates already sent keep the pricing they were made with.
  • If a roof’s pitch is outside every material you have turned on, RoofGo does not price it automatically. To price flat and low-slope roofs, turn on a low-slope system such as TPO or EPDM.
  • Documents print financing in two short lines: the lowest monthly payment the price qualifies for (with your lender’s 12-month no-interest plan where it has one), then a small line with the lender, the APR, the number of payments, the down payment and when 12-month interest is charged. A term is only used on prices its lender writes: a small job does not get a long-term payment.
  • Financing is read when an estimate is opened, so changing lender or turning financing off reaches estimates already sent.
