Signing up and joining your team

Start a new company

Do this once, if you run the company. If your company already uses RoofGo, skip to Joining from an invite.

1. Go to Start free.
2. Fill in Your name, Roofing company, Work email and a Password of at least 10 characters.
3. Tap Create my company. You are the owner of the new account.
4. One short setup screen follows, Your company: logo, color, phone, city and state, and your price per square. Email, website, address, license, storm area and financing sit under More details. Tap Save and price a roof, or Skip for now, to open the map. Its Get set up list walks you through your first proposal, your first mailer and inviting your reps.

The free trial includes 25 Property Credits and up to 3 people. No card is needed.

Verify your email

We email a link when you sign up. You can price your first roof on the free trial straight away, before you open it. It uses one of your Property Credits like any other roof. Every roof after that waits until your email is confirmed, so the sheet says Nice, that's your first roof. Confirm your email to price the next one.

1. Open the email called “Verify your email for RoofGo” and tap the link. The page says Email verified.
2. Tapped a second roof before confirming? The map says Confirm your email to keep pricing roofs. Come back to the map after you open the link and the house is priced, or tap I confirmed it: price this roof.
3. Lost it? Tap a roof on the map and choose Resend the email, or go to Sign-in & security in the menu and tap Send the link again.

The link lasts three days and works once. Check the spam folder if it has not arrived after a minute.

Invite your reps

1. Open Team in the menu.
2. Under Invite team member, type their first name, last name and email, and pick a role. The name is required: it is what the team and the Mail room see. Not sure which role? See Team roles.
3. Tap Send invite. They get an email with a link. It shows under Pending invites until they join, and you can tap Cancel to take it back.

Invites last seven days and work once. If one expires, send a new one. To fix someone’s name later, tap Name next to them on the Team page.

Joining from an invite

1. Open the email “You’ve been invited to RoofGo by” your company and tap the link.
2. New to RoofGo: check your first and last name (filled in from the invite), choose a password of at least 10 characters and tap Join the team.
3. Already have a RoofGo login: sign in with that email first, then open the invite link again and tap Join the team.

If you sign in and see You’re in. Join your team, your invite is waiting: tap Join the team under your company’s name. If it says the email is not on a team yet, ask your manager to invite that exact email address from the Team page, then sign in again. Running your own company instead? Type its name under Start a new company on that same page and you go straight to setup on a free trial, with the login you already have.

Signing in and resetting your password

1. On the sign-in page, use Password, or choose Email me a link to sign in without one.
2. Forgot it? Tap Forgot? next to the password box, type your email and tap Send reset link.
3. Open the email, type a New password and tap Save and sign in.

A reset link works once and expires in an hour. If it has expired, ask for a new one.
