  • Delete the company: Owner

Nobody can be invited as owner. Only the owner can invite, change or remove an admin or a team admin. Nobody can change their own role.

Change one person’s access

  1. Open Team and tap Access next to the person.
  2. Turn switches on or off, such as Measure properties, See everyone’s customers or Bulk jobs.
  3. Tap Save access. It applies on their next tap.

You cannot give a power you do not have yourself. Invite and remove people, and billing, can only be given by the owner. Remove takes someone’s access away on their next tap and keeps their customers and estimates with the company. Restore brings them back.

Do reps see each other’s houses?

The owner or an admin decides with the switch Reps can see each other’s houses on the Team page.

  • Off (the default): each rep and canvasser sees only their own houses on the map.
  • On: reps and canvassers see every rep’s houses and door labels, and are told when someone already estimated a house.

People who can see every rep’s customers always see all the houses, whichever way the switch is set.

Who has a customer, and claiming one

Every customer belongs to one person, usually the rep who estimated it. Its estimates, proposals and mailers go with it. Tap the house on the map and the sheet says who has it, for example Assigned to Jane Smith, last active 3 days ago. Reps and canvassers see the name and whether that person is active, nothing else.

Someone counts as inactive when any of these is true:

  • they were removed from the team;
  • their login was turned off;
  • they were invited and never joined;
  • they have not used RoofGo for 30 days.

When the person who has a customer is inactive, the sheet says so, for example Jane Smith is inactive, and a sales rep or a canvasser can tap Claim this customer. The customer and its estimates, proposals and mailers become theirs straight away. If that person is active, there is no Claim button: the customer is still theirs. If two people tap Claim at the same moment, the first one gets it and the other is told someone claimed it first.

From then on the homeowner sees the new person: the proposal, the link you send and any new mailer name whoever has the customer now. A mailer that was already printed or posted keeps the name it was printed with. On the Estimates list, Estimate by still says who wrote the estimate.

With Reps can see each other’s houses off, reps and canvassers only see who has a house when it already has a mailer. With it on, they see who has any house the company estimated.

Reassign a customer

The Owner, Admin, Team admin and Manager can hand any customer to an active rep at any time, whether or not the person who has it is inactive. Reps and canvassers cannot reassign. As with a claim, the new person is named on the homeowner’s proposal and on new mailers.

  1. Tap the house on the map.
  2. Under who has it, tap Reassign, pick an active rep and tap Reassign again.

The same card shows the Claim history: every claim and reassignment, who made it and when. The Owner, Admin, Team admin, Manager and Office see the history. The office sees who has a customer but cannot reassign it.

When a customer calls

Open Estimates and search the address, the homeowner’s name or phone, or the estimate number. The Assigned to column says who the customer goes to now, with Inactive if that person is no longer working, and a Claimed or Reassigned badge with the date if the customer changed hands. The filter next to the search shows one person’s customers. In the Mail room, when the person who has the customer is not the one who asked for the mailer, the mailer says who the customer is assigned to.

Property Credit limits per person

  1. On the Team page, find Property Credits by person. It shows what each person used this month.
  2. Tap Set a limit (or Change) next to someone, choose Credits a month or % of the company, type the number and tap Save. No limit removes it.

When someone reaches their limit, measuring stops for them until next month or until you raise it. Everything they already measured stays saved. The owner and admins set these limits.
